Respectful Treatment Drives Job Satisfaction

An April 2017 survey from the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM) finds that being treated respectfully
is a “very important” contributor to job satisfaction
for 2 out of every 3 employees.

Respectful treatment ranked higher than any of the other
factors driving employee job satisfaction.

#10 The work itself.

When talking about respectful treatment, there are a
variety of issues the come under this topic ranging from
diversity and inclusion to prevention of workplace
violence and harassment. As such, building a company
culture that encourages respect, diversity, and equality
is very important in improving job satisfaction and
employee retention.
