Gary M. O’Connor, Ph.D., CMHR

With over 25 years as a Senior Level Human Resources Executive, Gary M. O’Connor, Ph.D., CMHR has experience in both not-for-profit and for-profit sectors.  His experience has included talent and career management consulting, healthcare, hospitality, education and multi-state operations, in addition to a solid foundation in benefits, compensation, recruitment, training and labor relations,

Gary’s record of achievement has been broad based, stressing financial management, problem solving, dispute resolution, and proactive leadership. In addition, he has represented management as a chief spokesperson for contract negotiations, provided leadership for counter union defense campaigns, and has been successful in obtaining union representation withdrawal.

Working with management and staff, Gary has facilitated strategic HR planning, built strong cohesive management teams, providing creative problem solving expertise, revitalize human resources functions through new program strategies, metrics and efficient use of technology.

Gary holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Leadership from Corllins University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Education/Educational Leadership from Long Island University. In additional, Gary is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and certified as a School District Superintendent and Business Official.
